About Us

Mission

Faith & Family is a flexible homeschool hybrid which allows multilevel teacher/parent collaboration and is uniquely tailored to fit into each family's personal dynamic. Each student is individually assessed and placed within an academic level that challenges them, but without pushing them to the point of discouragement. We encourage your children to "do hard things," while simultaneously trusting in God's empowering strength to work in and through them for His glory!

Faith & Family believes in first strengthening foundational and core academics, to achieve great heights throughout the length of a student's academic career. Academic success looks different for each student and individuality in education is not lost for our students, as we work diligently with each student to help them see their own level of measurable success.

Purpose

Our primary purpose at Faith & Family is to come alongside parents and families in growing and nurturing their children's relationship with their Heavenly Father and others. We believe children can learn to hear and obey the voice of God for themselves and even encourage those around them in their faith. At Faith & Family, we believe that we are here on this earth to be in a strong, committed, and loving relationship with God and others, to find our purpose and to serve God and others from that purpose! The earlier our children establish and strengthen this spiritual connection, the closer they are to discovering their God-given purpose in life and are then able to serve God and others in and through that purpose.

Secondarily, we want to partner with families in educating your precious children in a safe, family friendly, Christ-centered atmosphere with solid, Biblical worldview instruction by teachers who lead by example in their walk of faith. At Faith & Family, we believe that God gave your children to YOU and YOU are the God-appointed authority over them, as well as being their first and primary educator. We want to partner with you in your educational journey, not take the place of that God-given authority in your children's lives.

We believe...

in the BIBLE

The Bible is the truthful Word of God, written by human authors without error under Divine inspiration. It is the unerringly authoritative, inspired basis for all we believe. It is totally sufficient and must not be added to, superseded, or changed by later tradition or revelation, or worldly wisdom. The Bible is where we turn when faced with the questions of life.

in GOD

There is only one God, with neither beginning, nor end. He lives and reigns as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Revelation 1:8

in JESUS

The Lord Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and performed miracles. He died a victorious death on the cross, shed His precious blood, was resurrected and then ascended into Heaven to be at the right hand of the Father. He did all of this for the redemption of mankind and the restoration of fellowship with our Heavenly Father. He makes continual, priestly intercession for His own, and will gloriously, visibly and triumphantly return to earth to consummate the eternal purpose and plan of God.

in the HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit comes to live in us, convict, guide and teach us, and to give strength to live a life of Godly service.

in SALVATION

Salvation is a gift, offered freely to us as sinners. His gift must be received in faith by each of us. We cannot rely on our own personal good works, but only the sacrificial death of the Saviour Jesus Christ. Yet God in His great mercy saves and gives new life to all who come to Him in repentance and faith, trusting in the Person and work of Jesus Christ.

man was born in SIN

All of us are created in the image of God, but have sinned, which violates God’s requirements and character. Therefore all of us are lost and cannot be reconciled to Him on our own accord.

Genesis 1:26-27, 2:16-17, 3:6; Romans 3:10,23, 5:12,18

in an ETERNAL destination

There will be a bodily resurrection of those who have accepted the gift of salvation and those who have not. There is a literal Heaven and Hell and that those who put their faith, hope, and trust in Jesus Christ will live forever in Heaven and those who reject the gift of salvation will spend eternity separated from God.

in the covenant of MARRIAGE

Marriage is an institution ordained by God in scripture as a life-long covenant relationship between a man and a woman as they were originally born and Divinely designed by the Creator.

Matthew 19:4-6; John 4:16-18; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 5:11, 6:9-11, 19-20, 7:1-16, 8-9; Galatians 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:3-7, 5:21-23; 1 Timothy 1:9-11; Gen. 2:18-24, Prov. 12:4; 18:22, 31:10; Ecclesiastes 9:9; Malachi 2:13-16; Colossians 3:14-19; Hebrews 13:4; 1 Peter 3:1-7

in Biblical SEXUALITY

Human sexuality is part of God's design for His creation. The Bible confines any form of consensual sexual activity inside the boundary of the marriage relationship. Therefore, any form of sexual immorality (including, but not limited to, adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, transgender or gender non-conforming relationship; bestiality; incest, and use of pornography) is sin in the eyes of God offensive to His holy nature.

Genesis 1:28; 1 Corinthians 7:1-5; Hebrews 13:4; Matthew 15:18-20; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

in God-assigned GENDER

God divinely and lovingly created man and woman in His image and for His glory as two distinct but equal genders. Life and gender is given by God at conception. Intentionally changing physical gender or living as a gender other than the one assigned at conception is a rejection of God's role and Divine right as Creator. It is a rejection of His plan to glorify Himself through the individual.

Genesis 1:26-27; Psalms 139:13-16; 1 Corinthians 10:31

in the SANCTITY of LIFE

Life is sacred, created by God and priceless, from conception, through natural death. God has given sacred value to the life of the pre-born babies, the aged, and the physically or mentally challenged. All human life is valuable, worth protecting and defending.
